Cypress is a burgeoning area 25 miles northwest of Houston. Originally settled by German immigrants in the mid-19th century, the area has a character and charm all of its own. It’s a nice residential area with commercial and light industrial districts that would make a nice home.
The Northwest Freeway joins Cypress to downtown Houston, providing an essential commuter route into town. Cypress also has plenty going on it its own right, including the North Cypress Medical Center and Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital, Tin Hall, The Berry Center and a selection of good golf courses and outdoor spaces.
