Edmond is part of the Oklahoma City metro area and has a population of around 85,000. Located north of the city, this suburb has been voted ‘Top Suburb to Live’ and is widely regarded as an aspirational area to live.

Amtrak runs daily from Fort Worth into Santa Fe Depot in Oklahoma City and there is no light rail service in Edmond.

The same for roads. Edmond has access to all the roads of OKC but I-35 runs just to the east of the city and Highway 77 right through the middle.

Living in Edmond

Edmond is an upscale part of the city with a lot of home ownership and high employment. Those who don’t work locally will commute into OKC and work there. There is a bit going on specifically in Edmond though and some nice neighborhoods in which to live.
