Dallas Texas
Dallas is one of the most famous cities in Texas and one of the most diverse. With a population of just over 1.3 million and the adjoining Fort Worth to the west, it’s a large, busy city with lots going on.
Originally founded for transportation, that is still a primary economic driver in Dallas but the city has diversified into defense, technology, telecommunications, financial services and general business. There is also an energy presence here thanks to the oil days of last century.
Corporate housing in Dallas is a mix of brand new apartments and older, more established developments. There are condos, single family homes and townhouses available too in the suburbs.
Employment in Dallas
Dallas is regarded as one of the fastest growing cities in the country and the city, as part of the DFW Metroplex has an enviably low unemployment rate thanks to the diversity of the employment opportunities available.

Getting around Dallas
Dallas began as a transport hub for cattle and goods and that infrastructure makes it easy to get around. Flying into Dallas will bring you into Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) with a DART station linking you directly to Downtown. Dallas Love Field (DAL) serves some national carriers.
Amtrak has two lines running into DFW, the Texas Eagle and the Heartland Flyer. Local rail is handled by the Trinity Railway Express and the A-Train. Light rail, the DART crosses the city too.
Buses are plentiful with Greyhound, Megabus, Echo Transport, El Expreso, Autobus Americanos, Turimex Internacional and Omnibus Mexicanos all running services into and out of the city.
Roads are plentiful as you would expect from a former transport hub. The Central, US-75 and I-45 run through the city with I-635, I35, TX-114, The Mixmaster and Woodall Rogers Freeway (TX-366) all ensuring traffic flows freely into, out of and through Dallas as much as possible.
