Getting around Fort Worth

The whole region is served by Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). It handles domestic and international carriers and is 17 miles out of town.

The Fort Worth Intermodal Transportation Center handles rail traffic from Amtrak and Trinity Railway Express. Trinity Railway Express runs local and commuter rail around the metroplex.

Buses also use Fort Worth Intermodal Transportation Center. Greyhound, Megabus, Autobus Americanos and Turimex Internacional all run services there. Molly the Trolley also runs services from Downtown to the Stockyards.

Road travelers can use I-20, I-30, !-35W or I-35E depending on where you’re going. The I0-820 loop rings the entire city and joins all other major routes. Local roads and wide and open and keep the city running smoothly.
