East Houston is defined as an area located between Beaumont Highway to the southeast, the railroad tracks near the intersection of Little York Road and East Houston Dyersdale Road on the northwest. It’s around 12 square miles in size with almost 20,000 people living there.
The neighborhood is primarily residential, with little industry but plenty of retail and leisure districts. There are also parks, lakes, a river and the Brock Park Golf Course. East Houston is an active neighborhood within easy reach of downtown. It’s diverse, colorful, friendly and busy, but all in a good way.
