Corpus Christi Texas

Corpus Christi is the largest coastal city in Texas. Located south of San Antonio and Southwest of Houston and protected in a bay and by the Padre and Mustang islands, this is one of the prettiest places in Texas.

Known mainly as a vacation spot, the climate, location and proximity to the river and the ocean make it a great place to fish, relax and unwind.

Getting around Corpus Christi

Corpus Christi International Airport (CRP) handles most national airlines and connecting flights to Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston George Bush airports. San Antonio International Airport is also accessible but is a 2.5 hour drive.

Greyhound run buses into Corpus Christi and the Corpus Christi Regional Transit Authority runs commuter buses throughout the city.

The city is served by the I-37 which is the only freeway into town. US-77 connects Houston and minor routes takes care of local traffic.

Corpus Christi is a laid back place with the ocean on one side and the wide open spaces of Texas on the other. With no dominating employer or university to speak of, the population is a real mix of uniformed services and locally employed.
